i don’t want to reblog it because i don’t want any part of it, so i’ll just quote it;

the bullshit i see on my dashboard; sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s not funny, other times it’s downright retarded.
obviously there’s nothing wrong with having a tumblr as an “outlet” of sorts for whatever toils you may experience, but pro-self harm and pro-eating disorder based tumblrs do more harm than good. yeah, people who have these issues can “connect” because they “understand” each other, but it’s more like a circle of destruction that they’re building. not to mention the bizarre competitiveness that some people have to be “worse” and be the “sickest”.
like what the fuck. there’s one thing to have somewhere to vent and there’s another thing to collect images of self-harm/pro-ana and posting them. how is that “supportive”? that’s not going to make you or anyone else feel better.
